1. Who this is for
Adults aged 18 and over residing in the United States, United Kingdom, European Union (including EEA), Australia, or New Zealand who are:
- preparing for, recovering from, or living long-term with one of the five recognised bariatric procedures (LSG, RYGB, SADI-S, LAGB, BPD-DS)
- using GLP-1 therapy and wanting structured behaviour-change support alongside their prescriber’s care
- under the active care of a bariatric program, surgeon, family physician, registered dietitian, and / or mental-health clinician in their own country, and looking for coaching to complement (not replace) that care
2. What this coaching is
Non-clinical, behaviour-change coaching focused on the same five areas as our Canadian track:
- nutrition behaviour and habit formation
- recovery routines (sleep, movement, stress)
- pattern recognition via the PureBariatric Nutrition Journal
- relapse prevention
- long-term self-management
The substance of coaching is identical to our Canadian track. The framing — and the legal scope — is different.

5. How coaching works
- Free 20-minute fit call — we confirm coaching is appropriate, that you are under appropriate clinical care in your country, and that scope expectations match.
- Intake and consent — you complete a structured intake and sign a coaching agreement, an explicit non-clinical-scope acknowledgement, and a privacy consent aligned with the privacy law of your country of residence (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, Australian Privacy Act, New Zealand Privacy Act).
- First session — we establish your goals, your clinical team’s current guidance, and a 90-day behaviour plan.
- Ongoing sessions — weekly or bi-weekly by secure video, in English, at times that work across our time zones.
- Quarterly review — structured behaviour review with a written summary you can share with your local clinical team.
6. Consent and intake
Before any paid coaching begins, you will receive and sign:
- a written coaching agreement
- a non-clinical scope acknowledgement specific to international clients (this page, attached)
- a privacy and information-handling consent appropriate to your country of residence
- an emergency-handling acknowledgement, including local emergency contact information
7. Privacy
International coaching is governed by our Privacy Policy, which addresses GDPR (EU/EEA), UK GDPR, CCPA (California), the Australian Privacy Act, and the New Zealand Privacy Act. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection (or local equivalents) as set out in that policy.
8. Fees and refunds
Fees, package structure, billing cycle, currency, and refund terms are disclosed in writing in your coaching agreement before any payment is taken. Payments are processed by Stripe. Local sales tax / VAT / GST is added where required by the law of your country of residence.
9. Country-specific notes
