Why we exist
Most bariatric surgical programmes are excellent inside the operating room. The gap patients describe most often is what happens after discharge — the months and years when the surgery is done, the immediate post-op appointments taper off, and long-term nutrition, symptom management, weight-regain risk, and quality-of-life questions become daily work.
PureBariatric fills that support gap. We are education and self-management support that complements, and never replaces, the care your bariatric team provides.

How we work
Every published claim is grounded in publicly available clinical guidelines from the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), Obesity Canada, the AACE/TOS/ASMBS/OMA/ASA peri-operative guideline, ISSN protein position statements, BOMSS post-op nutrition guidance, and peer-reviewed literature. Every source is logged in our Methodology & citation log, and every service boundary is disclosed on our Scope of Practice page.
All content is published in English, French, and Spanish so patients can use it in the language they think in.
Who runs it
PureBariatric is operated by 2800977 Alberta Inc., a Canadian corporation. The platform was built by Danielle Gale, a Canadian nurse and bariatric-trained health and wellness educator, in response to the long-term-support gap patients navigate outside their surgical programme.
Detailed founder credentials, professional registration, and clinical scope are disclosed on each coaching-track page — see Canadian coaching or international coaching for the full disclosure.
